Director, Finance

Jessica Rodriguez is the Director of Finance at the Human Resources Agency of New Britain. She also oversees the agency’s Financial Policies and Procedures, Budget Planning and Forecasting, and Grants and Contracts Administration.

Jessica brings over 25 years of experience in nonprofit and healthcare financial management, having served in leadership roles at the Connecticut Hospital Association, Middlesex Health, and the Hospital for Special Care. Her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to fiscal transparency have strengthened HRA’s financial infrastructure since she joined the agency in 2024.

Jessica initially joined HRA as the Interim Director of Finance and Sustainability before officially being appointed Director of Finance. In this role, she leads the organization’s fiscal planning, auditing, and compliance processes, and supervises the agency’s finance team in support of effective program delivery and long-term sustainability.

Jessica earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Post University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Albertus Magnus College. She is certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt and Black Belt) from Villanova University and is a graduate of the Middlesex Health Leadership Academy.
